Fresh Start for Kids is committed to providing hope, direction and life changing experiences for abused and at-risk children. By providing these children with a summer camp experience, they are able to create positive connections with specially trained staff. The child’s self confidence and hope for the future continues as these connections are reinforced throughout the year with additional mentoring activities.
I enjoy working with children and have taught Sunday School & Vacation Bible School and currently help as a volunteer @ a local elementary school. I think it is very important that children be raised in a Godly, loving and structured environment. Working with abused children would give me the opportunity to show these children that there are other adults that truly care about them.
